An insole must contribute to improve the characteristics of the footwear, has to reduce the impact during walking and has to favor the rollover.
Thermoformed insoles consist of a base material called DORECO: E.V.A. material from our own production with a high shock-absorbing capacity and low stiffness. These features help to reduce the transmission of the impact on the wearer’s tibia and improve the level of comfort because pressure is distributed evenly.
Natural materials can be applied to the insoles, such as heel supports made of cork, turning them into a high performance product.
Thermoformed insoles can also be made using breathable polyurethane foam as base material. Antibacterial agents can be applied to the insoles as well.
The main features of these insoles are anatomy, adaptability and lightness. Usually they are covered with different materials depending on the customer needs (smooth leathers, cowsplit, fabrics, microfibers…) There is the possibility to combine more than one density in one insole and this makes them ideal for hiking shoes, sport footwear or casual footwear.
Insoles can be fitted with a material developed by our team in accordance with biomechanical criteria with the help of the Instituto de Biomechanics Institut of Valencia (IBV), called TERCOLITE. It is a viscoelastic material with low stiffness and a high capacity to absorb impacts.
